Soundwave, the Decepticon communications and intelligence officer and one of Megatron's most loyal assistants, does'nt just master the frequencies that carry information across our planet, he revels in them. He transforms into a Cybertronian sattilite jet with Ravage as his partner. Stationed high in the upper atmosphere, he is fully capable of taking over communications on a planetary scale. In Revenge of the Fallen, Soundwave hacks into a US sattilite and takes the information, transmitting it to Wheelie, who intercepted Soundwave's order to retreive the AllSpark fragment in Mikela Banes' purse. Still hacking the sattilite, Soundwave overheard the video-cam confrence between NEST and Theodore Galloway, when Galloway revealed the location of the second AllSpark shard. Formulating a plan, Soundwave deployed Ravage to the NEST base in Diego Garcia . Ravage unfornately ended up suceeding. Soundwave remained in space tapping the sattilite. He then made a threatning phone call to Judy Witwicky, but Judy could not understand Soundwave's deep voice and called him a "mouth-breathing pervert". -Soundwave is unique among the Decepticons introduced in Revenge of the Fallen because he survives. In matter of fact, Soundwave, Starscream and Megatron are the only ones to survive.
